indian block printing workshop
What is block printing? It is simply as it says "on the tin"… Printing on to fabric and card using beautifully crafted had carved wooden blocks from India. The history of block printing is ancient and the carvers and printers are incredibly skilled artisans. Some of the most gorgeous fabrics from India are often hand printed and make wonderful clothes and interior design items. I have lots of block designs, not just Indian, flowers fruits, words, seaside, Cath Kidston designed blocks as well as May Morris (William Morris’ daughter) are available.
