We had a wonderful experience with Emma in her studio. I purchased a two hour taster course on the wheel for two people and we both managed to create 4 pieces each.

Emma was a fun, knowledgeable and patient tutor which only added to our first great experience of pottery. Highly recommend!

A brilliant experience and we enjoyed every minute. We did pottery wheel for 2, it was good fun, a great introduction to how you use the wheel and I’m just amazed we didn’t make more of a mess 😊 to be honest that’s because Emma is such a fantastic teacher - patient with a great balance between being hands on and allowing you to do it yourself. This was a wonderful experience in the studio; 2 hours on each of our pottery wheels creating 6 pieces in total. Emma was so relaxed and helpful bringing a lovely sense of humour to the morning. We now wait with baited breath to see how the pieces emerge from the kiln!

Great pottery evening at Brick Kiln Pottery with Emma. Really enjoyable few hours spent learning how to work with clay to create whatever we wanted. Lots of helpful advice and tips as we worked through different processes using a variety of ideas & tools.
Lovely to go with a friend and for us to meet others who were all trying this for the first time too, and amazing to see what everyone created.

I did a 6 week course and it was great fun! Emma is lovely, knowledgeable, and really supportive with ideas. My Friday classes were a huge boost to my week, not only giving me something to do creatively, but also for my mental health.

A chance to make something unique and chat to lovely people. A great way to end a busy working week and a relaxed start to the weekend.

A birthday surprise from my daughter. A really lovely time from start to finish. I have wanted to have a go on a potters wheel for many years and was not disappointed. A great experience with Emma’s guidance and patience which led to successfully making three interesting looking pots. We really enjoyed our time with Emma in her lovely studio. Cannot wait for our second visit.
